Luis Nani’s career at Manchester United will reach its conclusion within the next few days with a Medical at Fenerbahce on July 5th. After impressing on loan at Sporting Lisbon last year, Luis Nani had good reason to believe that his Manchester United career could get back on track. He scored 12 goals in 35 assists and was pivotal in assisting Sporting to claim the Portuguese Cup. However, Nani was been unequivocally informed that he had no part in Louis Van Gaal’s plans to mount a serious title challenge next season. With Manchester United competing across four tournaments in 2015-2016, it was expected that Nani would be afforded a chance to impress, owing to the requirement for squad depth.
