Manchester United might have struggled their way past Sheffield United in the FA Cup, but their performance was as unconvincing as ever, and are reportedly looking to replace manager Louis van Gaal with Tottenham Hotspur’s Mauricio Pochettino. The Red Devils just managed to get through because of a penalty by Wayne Rooney, that was earned by Memphis Depay, but the team and especially Van Gaal came under heavy criticism for the poor display. Manchester United’s style of play was termed as “boring” by many fans on the social media. Although the Dutchman seems to have the backing of the board at the moment, it seems that top brass at the Old Trafford is looking at Mauricio Pochettino as a possible replacement, after the end of the season, according to the Daily Mirror.
