Mumbai FC are on a disappointing run at the moment, but manager Khalid Jamil attributed the 2-0 loss at the hands of Mohun Bagan to the fact that the Mariners have “two of the best” foreign players in the I-League. With this defeat, Mumbai have now slumped to the eighth position on the I-League table, while Mohun Bagan march solidly on, to win their second league title in a row. “It was a very disappointing match. We didn’t play well. Mohun Bagan played well, and deserved to take the three points,” Jamil said after the match.
