Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing forward Seydou Doumbia and defender Fabian Delph from CSKA Moscow and Aston Villa respectively. Recent reports indicate that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing striker Seydou Doumbia from CSKA Moscow in the January transfer window. However, the striker’s buy-out clause worth £25 million can be the barrier for Spurs to see the deal through. Doumbia’s wage demands might not concern Tottenham as the forward earns around £54,000-a-week, which is well within Tottenham’s range. Spurs may be reluctant in spending £25 million on the 26-year old and will try to convince CSKA Moscow to lower their asking price. Doumbia has been in great goal-scoring form since moving to the club in 2010 and has a contract that runs till the end of the summer of 2016.
