After a shocking performance at the Emirates Stadium last night when Arsenal lost 3-1 to AS Monaco, manager Arsene Wenger has come under the microscope for the umpteenth time this season. Wenger’s side were poor and just weren’t able to find the back of the net on the night, while they continued to be poor at the back. The defeat leaves the club on the brink of a fifth consecutive exit at this stage in the competition and the heat is certainly on the Frenchman who had said earlier that there will be no excuses for his team if they fail to go through this time. Chelsea have completed the signing of French defender Kurt Zouma for £12.5m from Ligue 1 side St. Etienne. The defender will be spending the rest of the season on loan in France and will be joining the Chelsea team in the summer when he is expected to go straight into the first-team squad. With less than 36 hours to go until the transfer deadline, Liverpool’s lack of completed deals have left fans frustrated. Amidst all the clamor, rumors surfaced on Twitter of Liverpool’s last minute move Yann M’Vila. Multiple sources started confirming that Liverpool was indeed going to make a move for the Frenchman, with rumors even suggesting that Liverpool’s Managing Director Ian Ayre was flying out to Spain in order to finalize a possible deal with Rubin Kazan’s representatives.
