Borussia Dortmund have sent Italy striker Ciro Immobile on loan to Europa League champions Sevilla following just one season in Germany after he failed to break into the first team. The 25-year-old, who was brought in to replace Robert Lewandowski, is set to sign a one-year deal to join the Spanish league side after starting just nine league games for Dortmund last season since his transfer from Torino in 2014. He failed to make his mark on the 2013 Champions League finalists having been the Serie A top scorer with 22 goals in 33 appearances in his final season in Italy.
