‘Bosnian Diamond’ to Spurs? Tottenham Hotspurs have joined the chase to land City striker Edin Dzeko. The player who is a hot-topic of every transfer window is being closely monitored by Serie A clubs, notably Napoli and Milan. Goal.com reports that Spurs have expressed an interest in attaining the Bosnia international. Although, Dzeko has about one and a half years left on his contract and hence is in a strong position to negotiate a cut-price move, it is not highly unlikely that he will push for a move out of Eithad Stadium. It is also unlikely that Pellegrini will want to sell him to Premier League rivals, Tottenham. Dzeko has clearly fallen behind the ranks of Aguero and summer signing Negredo, yet he has apparently most recently been placated by Pellegrini, with the City boss likening him to Ibrahimovich.
