Newly appointed Chelsea FC manager Antonio Conte has already started identifying players he could sign next season, and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has emerged as his top target for the summer transfer window.

Everton have been resilient over keeping hold of their best players in the last couple of years and the Toffees will not let the Belgian striker go for cheap. According to The Independent, Chelsea, might have to bid in excess of £50 million to get Everton to listen to their offer.

Lukaku, who moved from Chelsea to Everton for £28 million in 2014, has scored 18 goals so far in the current campaign. Should he complete his move back to Stamford Bridge, he will be expected to partner Diego Costa in the 3-5-2 formation that Conte has preferred during his time at Juventus.

Lacking teeth up front, Manchester United are believed to be scouting AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen, according to Dutch newspaper Der Telegraaf.

Janssen has been impressive this season with AZ, scoring 20 goals  in 28 Eredivisie appearances. His performances have also helped him break into the Dutch national side. In fact, he most recently impressed the Wembley crowd by scoring a goal against England in an international friendly.

Manchester United however, may have to lure the Dutchman with a big money move as he is also being monitored by French champions PSG.

The Blues are preparing their contingency plans if No.1 keeper Thibaut Courtois decides to leave during the summer transfer window. Forster has developed into one of the best English keepers in the Premier League and has especially impressed this season after coming back from a grave knee injury earlier this year. He even won the Premier League Player of the Month award in February.

Courtois, who has admitted that his future at Chelsea might be in doubt, is rumoured to be wanting a switch to Real Madrid in the summer. According to The Sun, Chelsea want to replace the Belgian with the Englishman should Courtois move back to Spain.

However, Chelsea might have to pay an inflated price (around £20 million) if they want to land Forster as Barcelona are also reportedly scouting him.

Manchester United lining up £40m bid for Benfica midfielder

The Red Devils are desparately in need of some inspiration in midfield and are looking at £40 million-rated Benfica man Renato Sanches as a possible summer signing, according to Portuguese newspaper A Bola [vis Metro].

The Benfica midfielder has made 17 appearances for Benfica in the league this season and has impressed with his performances for the Portuguese club.

Manchester United are in a need of midfielders this season, with Michael Carrick’s contract running out at the end of the campaign and star man Bastian Schweinsteiger struggling with injuries. Sanches could be a long term signing for Manchester United as he is just 18 years old.

Manchester City join the race for Andriy Yarmolenko

Ukraine vs WalesHighly rated Dynamo Kyiv winger Andriy Yarmolenko is being tracked by a number of top European clubs, and Manchester City have just joined the race to land the Ukraine international, according to Daily Mirror.

The 26 year old, who is rated at around £25 million, has impressed with his performances in the Ukrainian league this season, scoring 10 goals from 19 appearances so far.

Manchester City, who have signed star tactician Pep Guardiola as their manager from the next season are expected to make a flurry of signings to give the Spaniard the team he wants.

However, the Sky Blues may have to shell out a bit more money,as the likes of Chelsea and Everton are also said to be after Yarmolenko’s signature.
