The Hard Tackle brings to you the suggestions for potential Fantasy Premier League picks as the third gameweek of the Premier League commences.

Well, it was a fruitful gameweek indeed for the users who delved into our Fantasy Premier League roundup and picked player(s) from within our THT Squad. Sticking to the trend, we shall continue to give you some general tips and some choices where you can use your single transfer on.

But, first of all, let’s look at the points tally our squad managed to generate.

THT Squad Second gameweek points: 78

Let’s delve straight into our picks for you to use your one transfer on.

Harry Kane (TOT) – FWD – £12.5

If anyone doesn’t have him in his squad, they have done alright so far, with Harry Kane yet to get started. However, as Burnley look to pay visit, the Lion could be back in his full form, especially after a lacklustre performance against Chelsea. It would be a wise decision to get the striker in at this juncture.

Christian Benteke (CRY) – FWD – £7.9

A mere 3 points from two games, Benteke is not a popular pick right now (6.6%) – somewhat expected given Palace’s slow start to the season. However, the Eagles face Swansea, who are themselves reeling from the departure of Gylfi Sigurdsson and the injury to their star forward Fernando Llorente.

This would be a good game for Frank De Boer to get his Premier League tally underway and Benteke is sure to be at the heart of it, if Palace do manage to do just that. A budget alternative to Harry Kane for the users.

Kyle Walker-Peters (TOT) – DEF – £4.5

The youngster has already impressed the onlookers and with a new long-term deal signed, combined with the absence of Kieran Trippier and Danny Rose, expect Pochettino to hand him another start. This is potentially the best value-for-money addition available to users this week.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah (CRY) – DEF – £4.5

Another pocket-friendly option, Fosu-Mensah has played every minute of Palace’s Premier League matches this season. And the Dutchman – reunited with former boss Frank De Boer – has shown signs that have got the Palace fans raving. A sure starter for the Eagles and this weekend could just be the matchday where THE CHANCE finally pays dividends.

However, there are a couple of players who may not have shined yet, but we recommend you to put them into your squad as early as possible.

Bernardo Silva (MCI) – MID – £7.8

The Portuguese is a livewire. While he has been afforded just 21 Premier League minutes so far, expect Guardiola to make some changes to his squad for the match against Bournemouth and the former AS Monaco man could come into the lineup. Impressive in cameos, this could just be his (match)day to shine.

Anthony Martial (MUN) – MID – £8.0

There is a sense of anticipation around the Manchester United dugout and all of it is surrounding Martial’s situation. The player has chipped in with 2 goals and an assist in the little time he has been afforded so far and is in line to start soon. Leicester could be the opponent that sees Mourinho unleash Martial as a starter.

The Pick

Richarlison (WAT) – MID – £6.0

However, if there is one pick that we recommend you to get in regardless of the gameweek, it is Richarlison. The youngster has taken to Premier League with applaudable aplomb and his price is set to go north very soon. A very technically gifted Brazilian, Richarlison looks the part and is surprisingly not yet popular among FPL users (3.7%).

He is sure to give the users a lot of points this season and this could be the time to bring him in, before his price is hiked by FPL, even if it means taking a penalty to eke in an extra transfer or even using a free hit or the wildcard.

Here is our main eleven for the coming gameweek.

THT FPL XI

Goalkeeper: Wayne Hennessey (CRY)

Defenders: Kyle Walker-Peters (TOT), Timothy Fosu-Mensah (CRY), Miguel Britos (WAT)

Midfielders: Dele Alli (TOT), Matt Phillips (WBA), Richarlison (WAT), Bernardo Silva (MCI)

Forwards: Harry Kane (TOT), Christian Benteke (CRY), Steve Mounie (HUD)

We recommend you to captain Harry Kane this week (our choice for captain). Alternatively, if you do not have the Spurs man in your squad, you can go for Richarlison or Christian Benteke as your pick for captain.
