The Hard Tackle takes a look at the best betting markets for the top fixtures ahead of the fourth game-week of the Premier League.

It is a mouth-watering lineup this weekend in the Premier League with the Manchester derby with an early Saturday kick-off headlining the upcoming matches. We at The Hard Tackle take a look at the potentially profitable markets and best odds in the Premier League for the respective game-week.

Before we do delve into the this gameweek’s action, though, we at The Hard Tackle are fully committed to showing you the full picture and have thus decided to give you a summary of results of the tips provided for Gameweek 3 of the English Premier League.

Please note that the results of only the favourable bets are enclosed, as the other bets are underdog bets which is up to the reader’s discretion. The odds are extracted from Bet365.com and may vary from bookmaker to bookmaker.

Favourable Bets : 8/11 correct, 1 half-return

1. Arsenal vs Southampton

Despite the Manchester Derby grabbing the headlines, The Hard Tackle feels this is the match to look out for in terms of bets and overall experience.

Although, the teams have a combined total of 3 cards per game, the odds of over 3.5 cards @ 2.20 are heavily overpriced and it would make sense to back the market as some of the newcomers into the Premier League might take time to adjust to the refereeing system in the Premier League as is the case with any league.

Besides this, the two teams have seen additions being made to their attacking lineup with Lucas Perez and Sofiane Boufal joining the respective sides. While Perez is your customary prolific goalscorer, Boufal is described as an exciting player and could be the difference maker in the match. The former Lille player could provide the Soton attack with the edge that has been missing this season.

The Hard Tackle feels the game could prove to be a tough outing for the Arsenal squad and Soton could nick a point or maybe even three.

Favourable Bets :

1. over 3.5 cards @ 2.20

2. Draw or Soton @ 2.40

Luxury/Underdog Bets :

1. Southampton DNB @ 4.50

2. Sofiane Boufal to score anytime @ 5.00

3. Nathan Redmond to score anytime @ 5.00

2. Liverpool vs Leicester

We love the cards market as it is often overpriced and under-rated and the same seems to be the case in this match. The two teams are known to be fiery and their season average thus far comes to 5 cards which puts the over 3.5 cars @ 1.66 as underpriced in our eyes.

We believe this match could well be another making of a game akin to the 4-3 game Liverpool played out against Arsenal and this match could very well serve as the game which could re-ignite the fire and hunger in the Foxes which has been found missing thus far.

Islam Slimani is in line to make his Foxes debut and could well be on the scoresheet on Saturday as he is known to be prolific and could prove to be an able partner to Vardy up-front.

Favourable Bets :

1. over 3.5 cards @ 1.66

2. Liverpool Clean Sheet – No @ 1.50

3. Over 2.5 Match Goals @ 1.75

Luxury/Underdog Bets :

1. Jamie Vardy to score anytime @ 3.60

2. Islam Slimani to score anytime @ 3.60

3. Leicester Draw No Bet @3.75

 3. Swansea vs Chelsea

A game which could very well be a rout in a sense. Chelsea are the in-form team fresh off a 3-0 result against Burnley and could slot home equal to or maybe more than that in this game.

Defensively, The Hard Tackle feels it will be another clean sheet for the Blues as Conte begins to mould the team into a defensive juggernaut while Swansea have also had their own problems finding the back of the net.

Standard Bets :

1. Chelsea win @ 1.66

2. Chelsea Clean Sheet – YES @ 2.37

3. Over 2.5 Match Goals @ 1.80

4. Both Teams to Score – NO @1.95

Luxury/Underdog Bets :

1. Chelsea Asian Handicap -2 @4.40

2. Chelsea Asian Handicap -2.50 @5.50

 4. Stoke vs Tottenham

One could well call it the game that sets Harry Kane free. Stoke are as formidable as anyone and would pose a potent threat to Tottenham. Harry Kane has been goalless for club and country since the beginning of the season but this could well be the match where the beast is unleashed.

Stoke have conceded in each of their three Premier League games and the norm could continue. On the other hand, Tottenham are strong defensively and could curtail Stoke’s chances especially in the absence of talisman Shaqiri.

Favourable Bets :

1. Harry Kane to score anytime @2.10

2. Tottenham to win @ 1.85

3. Tottenham Half Time/Full Time @2.87

Luxury/Underdog Bets :

1. Harry Kane to score 2 or more @6.50

5. Manchester United vs Manchester City

Finally, we come to the match of the week. Both teams have secured full points from their first three games and the Mourinho-Pep battle has ensured that the match be billed as one of the greatest derbies to have taken place in Manchester.

Betting wise, Aguero’s absence could be the deciding factor in the derby while this is one game where one would like to stay away from the cards market. The cards market is set at Over 5.5 with odds of 1.66 which i feel are heavily overpriced, even for a derby.

The two teams have a combine average of 3 cards per game which needs to be doubled if the bet is to come in, which could be a huge ask.

Elsewhere, the game is unlikely to be a 0-0 affair with Pep Guardiola’s teams notoriously known for conceding goals while the Citizens could find it hard to break a United defence with the in-form Bailly at the heart of it as the Red Devils have mustered up 2 clean sheets in their 3 games conceding only 1 goal in the process.

Standard Bets :

1. Manchester United WIn @ 2.37

2. Manchester United Asian Handicap 0.0 @1.60

3. Zlatan to score anytime @2.37

Luxury/Underdog Bets :

1. Manchester United to win to Nil @ 3.75

2. Rashford to score anytime @ 3.25

3. Over 12 Corners @ 3.10
