Kleberson has advised Youri Tielemans to snub the advances of Manchester United and Liverpool to join Chelsea when he leaves Leicester City.

Youri Tielemans could be set for a big summer move when he eventually leaves Leicester City after the current season. Since joining the Foxes from AS Monaco, the Belgian midfielder has become a key player and inked his name as a hero after his goal won them their first-ever FA Cup last season.

The midfielder has been attracting plenty of attention from Premier League clubs and was also talking with Arsenal over a move. While he stayed put, the Belgian could move out of the King Power Stadium in the summer, with his contract expiring in the summer of 2023.

Tielemans is believed to have made his intention to leave Leicester clear and communicated the decision to the board a few weeks ago. Brendan Rodgers has also hinted at a departure, as Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea are strongly interested in the 24-year-old. The Red Devils are considering a summer move, although they will face tough competition from their Premier League rivals.

Liverpool also hold a keen interest, with Jurgen Klopp expected to bring in the midfielder as a long-term option at Anfield. With plenty of clubs vying for his signature, Tielemans will have a huge decision to make in the summer, as he looks to take the next big step in his career.

And former Manchester United star Kleberson has advised the Belgian over his ideal destination when he leaves Leicester City. As quoted by Daily Express, the ex-Brazilian international urged Tielemans to snub the advances of his former club and Liverpool and join Chelsea instead, insisting the midfielder suited the Blues more than the others.

Kleberson said, “Youri Tielemans is not at a big club. Leicester City doesn’t have the pulling power that some other Premier League teams possess. I could see Tielemans going to Chelsea because their style would suit him.”

“When you watch Chelsea play, they are more comfortable with the ball. A move to Manchester United would be a really big risk for him, and Liverpool already have players who can control games and dictate the play,” the 42-year-old, who made 32-appearances for the Brazilian national team, added.

Tielemans has proven himself to be a top operator since his move to Leicester in 2019. Any club that signs him would stand to benefit greatly. As to where the Belgian international ends up, only time will tell.
