Chelsea had to battle hard for their first win of the season as they narrowly beat a resolute Norwich City 3-2, with Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham impressing.

Chelsea were made to sweat for it but ultimately landed their first win under Frank Lampard. Norwich refused to fold in an open match that had many great chances and overall, eye-pleasing football for the fans and neutrals.

It was the academy that shined for Chelsea at Carrow Road, with Frank Lampard likely to be relieved at seeing Tammy Abraham score a brace, especially after he was brought into the lineup to replace Olivier Giroud. Mason Mount continued to impress as the storyline of a youth revolution as Chelsea begins to spread it’s wings.

But, the toast of the Chelsea supporters were Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount, two academy graduates who are starting to flourish under the tutelage of Lampard.
