Marcus Rashford’s early strike was enough to hand Manchester United all three points in their away match against Leicester City.

Manchester United somehow prevailed over Leicester City in what was a nervy ending to the match. United started the game strong and should have taken the lead in an instant early on, with Marcus Rashford missing a close header. The academy ace soon redeemed himself by controlling a Paul Pogba ball before slotting it in the back of the net.

There were a few other chances, with United dominating the first half. The second half started with a Leicester City blitz and it continued to be so, with United only getting sniffs at goal every now and then. But, the defence held on, which combined with some brilliant saves from De Gea and haphazard finishing from Leicester City, ensured the win.

Marcus Rashford received praise for his goal while there were some who were quick to highlight his mistakes during other attacking ventures on Sunday.

But, De Gea was not forgotten, with the Spaniard coming in clutch whenever needed.
