Widespread reports have indicated that Arsenal’s Spanish full-back Hector Bellerin has signed a new contract with the Gunners

Bellerin has long been linked with a return to Barcelona, as well as with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, but has repeatedly stated his intention to stay with the North London club.

However, reports today seem to indicate that the youngster has indeed made good on his promise to stay, and has signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal, with Bellerin’s agent also confirming that he was close to signing a new contract.

Bellerin has been a revelation at right-back, and has been steadily developing ever since his emergence in 2014.

The 21-year old has been universally praised for his performances, with Rio Ferdinand even admitting that the Arsenal player was the best right-back in the league.

So it is no wonder, then, that Arsenal fans were ecstatic at reports he had signed a new contract, and Twitter had it’s say on the matter :
