The Champions League Round of 16 draw has pit Arsenal against familiar foes Bayern Munich
It looked like things were finally going right for the Gunners in their European escapades. They topped a tough group at the last minute, and were hoping for a more lenient draw than they have been used to in the past.
However, none other than Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich will be waiting for the Gunners in the knockout stage. The Gunners have come up against the Bavarians in three of the past four years, twice the former were knocked out in the round of 16 and last year they were second in the group behind Bayern.
Gooners were as expected plenty frustrated at the draw, with the 1st place finish in the group coming to nought in the end.
