Michy Batshuayi scored a hattrick on Wednesday as Chelsea dismantled Nottingham Forest with a 5-1 scoreline to progress in the Carabao Cup.

Chelsea fans were excited to see the lineup for their Carabao Cup third round match against Nottingham Forest. And the starting eleven did not disappoint, with Michy Batshuayi scoring a hattrick for the Blues as the Belgian front-three ran rings around the Nottingham Forest players.

Chelsea’s very own Batman was the hero on the night and he got the adulation he deserved for his performance.

The night, though, belonged to Belgian youngster Charly Musonda Jr., who scored on his full debut for Chelsea and overall had a brilliant game on Wednesday.

In the end, people were happy with Conte and Chelsea with the lineup and the performance. The future indeed looked bright for Chelsea on Wednesday.
