The horrors of the season opening loss to Burnley seem to be becoming a fading memory as Chelsea notched up their second successive win to enter the international break with six points from their first three games. This time it was a straightforward 2-0 win over Everton thanks to a convincing first-half show.

Cesc Fabregas broke the deadlock just before the half-hour mark thanks to a smart close-range finish, before Alvaro Morata, who provided the assist to his compatriot, doubled the lead five minutes before half-time to now have two goals and as many assists as a Chelsea player.
