The Mestalla staged one of the most exciting La Liga matches in recent memory. The 5-goal thriller included goals from Messi, Suarez and Munir, an injury to Iniesta, and bottles being thrown at Neymar by the home fans.
It started off in the worst possible way for the visitors, with captain Andres Iniesta suffering an injury early on, because of which he had to be stretchered off the pitch. The knee injury, as it was later revealed, could keep him out for months.
