Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain sealed a £35 million deadline day move to join Liverpool from Arsenal.
One of the longest drawn out transfer sagas of the summer finally ended on deadline day of the summer transfer window. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ended his six-year spell at Arsenal to join Liverpool in a £35 million deal.
The England international will wear the number 21 jersey for the Reds, and will join his new teammates in training post the international break next weekend. And Liverpool fans were quick to welcome their newest signing by posting their welcome posts on social media.
