Liverpool are in the race for Dutch winger Noa Lang, who is expected to be available for €40 million in the summer.

According to Milannews24, Liverpool are keen on Noa Lang in the summer, with Club Brugge expected to cash in if a reasonable offer arrives for their attacker. There is significant competition for the Dutchman, with Milan one of the clubs keen to bring him to Italy.

The upcoming summer window will see plenty of attackers move clubs as big teams eye key reinforcements to their forward options. One of the players widely tipped to leave his current club is Noa Lang, as the Dutch star eyes a big move to further his career.

Since joining Club Brugge, Lang has been a revelation, with his performances convincing the Belgian outfit to make his move from Ajax permanent in the summer of 2021. However, Brugge are themselves for several bids for their attacking asset next season, though the club want at least €40 million from suitors in the summer window.

He already courted interest from the likes of Arsenal after the previous summer window, although the Gunners are now focused on their efforts to sign a new striker. The north London side were not the only club involved in the pursuit, as many others were reportedly keen on the winger.

Liverpool are also understandably interested in a possible after the end of the season, as Jurgen Klopp eyes key attacking reinforcements in the summer window. Their biggest need might be to replace Mohamed Salah if the Egyptian leaves the club or bring in a quality depth option to replace one of the current fringe squad players.

The Reds have already added to their attacking third in January by bringing Luis Diaz from FC Porto. With the Colombian already tipped for greatness, there’s still room for another attacker to come in for the long-term future.

Liverpool faces competition from several clubs, including AC Milan, who remain keen on the Dutchman. Their biggest issue could be meeting Brugge’s €40 million asking price. The same may not be an issue for the Merseysiders, who could swoop in if the player’s availability is confirmed.

It remains to be seen if Liverpool are serious with their interest, though, as they are not easily associated with big splurges in the transfer market. The Reds will certainly look to reduce the asking price and come to the table if a reasonable sum could be agreed upon. As for Lang, a move to Merseyside could be an exciting one, even though he will have to bide his time before becoming a regular starter.
