Real Madrid will not pay more than €45 million to land Endrick, even though Palmeiras could reportedly bump his release clause to €100 million.

According to Spanish publication AS, Endrick has become a priority target for Real Madrid to bolster the ranks at La Fabrica. But Los Blancos will not shell out more than €45 million to prise the 15-year-old Brazilian wonderkid away from Palmeiras, who wish to elevate his release clause to around €100 million.

Endrick has taken no time to establish himself as one of the most eye-catching prodigies in South America, having gone from strength to strength in age-group football in Brazil. One of Palmeiras’ most prized possessions, the teenage sensation has scored a staggering 169 goals in 175 official appearances for the Alviverde at different levels.

The 15-year-old has recently started becoming a household name in Europe following his exploits at the Copinha, which Palmeiras won, with the youngster ending the under-20 tournament as its Most Valuable Player. Suffice to say, Endrick’s performances have been duly noted by some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Real Madrid.

The Spanish giants are famous for foraying into the Brazilian market for talented teenagers over the years, with their horizons broadened further following Juni Calafat’s advent at the club. In recent years, such an outlook has fetched Real Madrid current first-team regulars like Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo Goes, with the former already a talismanic figure at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Endrick is not the only Brazilian wonderkid currently on Real Madrid’s radar either, with several other prodigies, including Matheus Nascimento, also being scouted aggressively. But Endrick has quickly become a priority for Real Madrid, especially with every high profile European club hot on his trail.

Recent reports have claimed that the Merengues have opened talks to sign the 15-year-old prodigy. While Real Madrid will not be able to bring Endrick to Europe before he turns 18, they can secure a deal to complete his transfer in two years, which will help them bypass their rivals in his chase.

But there are suggestions that Palmeiras could bump up his release clause to €100 million, which has left Real Madrid concerned, as they are only willing to shell out around €45 million to secure his services. That is the same amount they paid to land Vinicius, and Real Madrid will hope that a €45 million outlay will be enough to snap up Endrick.
