Tottenham are prepared to make a reasonable offer late in the window to secure the signing of Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus.

According to Calciomercato, Tottenham are ready to reignite their interest in Dejan Kulusevski and make a late offer for the Swedish wide man, who remains unhappy at Juventus. Spurs are reportedly putting together a loan offer with an obligation to buy for the 21-year-old. He also courts interest from Arsenal.

After failing to secure their primary targets in the current transfer window, Tottenham has suffered massive disappointments in the last few days. Antonio Conte was keen for the club to sign a wide forward to offset the problems in the area, but Spurs have failed in their pursuit of key targets.

First it was Adama Traore, who at one point seemed poised to join Spurs. However, Barcelona swooped in very late and secured the Spaniard from under Tottenham’s noses, which would have frustrated Conte.

Spurs also chased Porto’s wide attacker Luis Diaz. Their initial offer for the Colombian was knocked back by the Portuguese side, who were seeking more money for their star man. As things stand, they are set to lose the race for yet another target, with Liverpool swooping in late.

The Reds are closing in on signing Diaz and could make the signing well before Monday’s transfer deadline. Jurgen Klopp was keen on the player sinc last summer and might have sensed the opportunity to get him signed before Spurs could.

While it has been a disappointing few days for Spurs, the north London club are not ready to give up on their pursuit of a wide attacker, which is why they have set their sights back on Dejan Kulusevski.

The 21-year-old remains unhappy at Juventus, and the Serie A giants are prepared to cash in if a reasonable offer arrives their way. AC Milan were keen on the Swede, but they cannot afford the attacker’s services under current circumstances.

It certainly leaves Premier League sides in pole position to sign the Serie A star, with Arsenal also interested in the Swede. The Gunners will have Tottenham for company in the window’s final days as technical director Fabio Paratici looks to use his influence in Italy to lure the winger away.

Tottenham have reportedly made a solid offer for the 21-year-old – a loan deal with an obligation to buy worth around the same figure that Atalanta sold him to Juventus for in early 2020. Juventus are prepared to accept those terms, knowing there is a window of opportunity to recoup the majority of the investment they had made in 2020.

A decision will remain in Kulusevski’s hands as he could weigh in on other offers on the table. But given the lack of suitors, it won’t be surprising to see the Swede latch on to the opportunity to sign for the Londoners, especially after the recent capture of Dusan Vlahovic.
