Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly plotting a raid on Serie A Torino for the triple signing of Andrea Belotti, Gleison Bremer and Wilfried Singo.

According to a report from Italian publication Tuttosport, as relayed by Sport Witness, Tottenham Hotspur have their eyes on three players from the Serie A club as new manager Antonio Conte looks to build a squad in his image. The three Granata stars on the Lilywhites’ radars are Andrea Belotti, Gleison Bremer, and Wilfried Singo.

Tottenham find themselves with yet another new project. Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked from the managerial post just four months after his appointment, only to be replaced by former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte. The Italian tactician is a proven winner but has shown throughout his managerial career that he can be picky about the players he signs for his clubs.

Plans for a restructure at Tottenham are already underway, with targets for January and the summer windows already being chalked out. And, as per the report mentioned above, the north London giants have narrowed in a surprise set of targets in the form of Torino trio Andrea Belotti, Gleison Bremer and Wilfried Singo.

Belotti’s name on the transfer wishlist of Tottenham should not come as a surprise. The 27-year-old UEFA Euro 2020 winner is a proven goalscorer in Serie A and has been delivering the goods in front of the goal for I Granata for several years now and is, in fact, their club captain as well. In addition to that, the Italian international is out of contract at the end of the season and will be available for free.

With Tottenham lacking a proper backup for star striker Harry Kane, who himself has been struggling for form this season, it only makes sense for the Premier League club to sign a new forward. And even though Dusan Vlahovic is a priority, someone like Belotti would be a more experienced and considerably cheaper option.

As for Spurs’ interest in Bremer, it is no secret that they have been hit and miss defensively this season. Apart from Cristian Romero, none of the other centre-backs have performed consistently enough to be regarded as undisputed starters. So, it would bode well for the north Londoners to add another centre-half to their roster, with Bremer a viable option.

The Brazilian has been on the radars of several top clubs of late and has shown great potential during his time in Turin. At 24, Bremer has his best years in front of him and can form a long-term defensive partnership with Romero, should Tottenham sign him.

However, the Lilywhites’ pursuit of Singo comes off as a surprise considering the number of right-backs that they already have on the books. Matt Doherty hasn’t had it easy since arriving last year, but a potential switch to wing-back role in Conte’s system could work for the Irishman. Emerson Royal was also brought in from Barcelona in a big-money move, while Japhet Tanganga can also play in the position.

So, while the 20-year-old Singo has shown potential and is suited to playing as a wing-back, a move for him would be redundant unless Tottenham sell someone in that position.
