Real Madrid reportedly have no intention of making a move for Adrien Rabiot, even though Carlo Ancelotti is an admirer of the Juventus ace.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Real Madrid are set to rebuff any and every approach wherein they are offered the services of Adrien Rabiot. Carlo Ancelotti is an admirer of the Juventus midfielder’s talents but Florentino Perez has no interest in him.

Adrien Rabiot joined Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in the summer of 2019 following a rather acrimonious end to a near decade-long association with Les Parisiens. The move to the Allianz Stadium, though, has not worked out as envisioned, even though he has been a regular feature for the Bianconeri.

To date, the 26-year-old has turned out 91 times for Juventus, chipping in with six goals and five assists in the process. The French international is deemed to be a player worth cashing in on, as he is raking in astonishing sums in wages while not backing it up with consistent performances. And in recent weeks, he has been linked with Real Madrid.

Recent reports have suggested that Juventus wish to offer Rabiot to Real Madrid as part of a swap deal to sign Dani Ceballos. However, while Los Blancos do wish to part ways with Ceballos, they do not want to bring in Rabiot as part of any deal.

Indeed, Florentino Perez has no interest in the 26-year-old French international, even though Carlo Ancelotti is an admirer of his talents and even attempted to sign him while he was at Everton. Apart from Ceballos, there have been suggestions that Juventus could also offer Rabiot in a deal for Marco Asensio, who has been heavily linked with the Italian giants lately.

Real Madrid, though, are eager to bring in Aurelien Tchouameni, who is their desired candidate to be a midfield reinforcement ahead of other targets. While the French prodigy will command a high transfer fee, Real Madrid appear to be determined to secure his services.

What now remains to be seen is if Juventus can find any other suitor in their desperate bid to offload Rabiot and his high wages. For now, the 26-year-old appears to have an uncertain future at the Allianz Stadium heading into the January transfer window.
