Real Madrid have reportedly had a bid worth €215 million for top target Kylian Mbappe being accepted by Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, Real Madrid are inching closer to finally secure the services of Kylian Mbappe before the summer transfer window slams shut. The Spanish giants have had an offer worth €215 million being accepted by Paris Saint-Germain, bringing them closer to signing their top target.

Kylian Mbappe has been nothing short of sensational since his breakout campaign in senior club football, back in the 2016/17 season with AS Monaco. Over the last four seasons, following his move to PSG in the summer of 2017, the Frenchman has only gone from strength to strength, while also having won the 2018 FIFA World Cup with France.

To date, Mbappe has amassed an excellent record of 135 goals and 63 assists in 175 appearances for the Ligue 1 heavyweights. However, his future at Parc des Princes is highly uncertain, seeing as he has entered the final year of his deal with PSG, with Real Madrid hot on his trails.

Real Madrid have taken a keen interest in Mbappe pretty much since he first broke out at Monaco. Since then, Los Blancos have been heavily linked with the 22-year-old, who has become their top target ever since Cristiano Ronaldo departed the club back in 2018.

Indeed, Real Madrid have been unable to fully replace their all-time top scorer over the last three years, with Karim Benzema doing the bulk of the scoring. As a result, with his position at PSG becoming dicey, Real Madrid seem to have sensed an opportunity, having launched the offensive for him in the past week or so.

In fact, the Merengues have already had a couple of bids being rejected by PSG, although their latest offer appears to have been too attractive to turn down. As per Rudy Galetti, Real Madrid lodged a bid worth €215 million for Mbappe, with PSG accepting this offer.

What now remains to be seen is if the Spanish giants can move quickly enough to complete the formalities of the transfer before the transfer deadline. For now, it looks like Mbappe is finally headed to Real Madrid in what will be a mega-money €215 million deal.

This is crazy signing a player left with less than 10 months in his contract for that huge lucrative amount i really dou’t blame perez cos khelaifi and leonardo push him to the end this two curprit spoiled the transfer window all in the name capable of splashing denomination on player both khelaifi and leonardo have no esperience in term of negociation cos if they do definately will not sign mbape a player of 17 years old from monaco for sum of €170 millions that’s unprofessional cos i can remember vivily when perez approach 17 years old joao felix from benfica which they stamp a tag price of €176 millioms on him perez quickly withdraw from the deal that’s what i call professional khelaifi is so arrogant all in the name of having enough found to spend i cant imagine it when he paid €222 millions to secure the signing of neyma from bercelona that’s totally anthic behaviour by khelaifi and leonardo in the transfer window. Hala madrid

    • Logic says:

Before PSG signed mbappe, Barca already spent over 100 on dembele, mbappe has proven his worth and is attracting a fee higher than that which they bought him.
Real Madrid spoilt the transfer window, not PSG.
They signed Bale and Ronaldo close to hundred million.

  10. Umar Abubakar says:

  11. Bol mamuor says:

  12. Christopher Sumo says:

Welcome to the royal white Mbappe!!

  13. Barry says:

It is unfortunate that Real Madrid dragged, hemmed and hawed, leaving the issue to this eleventh hour. The management of Real Madrid is aware that PSG would not go of Mbappe for mealy mouth, chicken feed. That is despite knowing that the young footballer wanted out and had a desire to wear the colours of Real.
