Juventus have received offers from Everton, Aston Villa and West Ham for the services of Weston McKennie.

According to Tuttosport, Weston McKennie’s future at Juventus hangs in the air, with many Premier League clubs still interested in his services. The arrival of Manuel Locatelli has put the youngster’s prospects in Turin under severe doubt despite new coach Massimiliano Allegri denying the recent speculations.

Everton, Aston Villa and West Ham are among the Premier League clubs to have already launched offers for McKennie. Juventus could consider them, especially if they can succeed in their recent pursuit of Axel Witsel. The Borussia Dortmund star is available for a cut-price, but facilitating the move could be difficult in these remaining days of the transfer market.

Fresh from losing Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United, it is apparent that change is in the air in Turin. The club has already launched pursuit of several players including Witsel while others like Weston McKennie, Aaron Ramsey are facing an uncertain future, especially as Allegri vouches for further reinforcements in midfield and attack.

McKennie, in particular, is particularly favoured by English clubs. His aggression and direct style of play have already caught the attention of West Ham, who are on the hunt for new midfielders. The Hammers have already started the season well and could make a case for being an ideal destination for the player.

The same can be said for Aston Villa and Everton, both looking for reinforcements in the middle of the park. The young American could be an excellent signing Everton who as they lack a creative player who can add that thrust in the final third. They were notably linked with a swoop for Matheus Cunha this month before the Brazilian ended up joining Atletico Madrid.

As for McKennie, he was courted by Tottenham Hotspur. But they are out of the race, after roping in Metz midfielder Pape Sarr. It leaves the Juventus midfielder with three options, in Everton, Villa and West Ham, should he opt to join the Premier League this season.

However, perhaps a wiser option will be to remain in Turin, knowing the club is likely to fail in their pursuit of a new midfielder and are set to undergo a massive overhaul after the departure of star player Ronaldo.

It will be interesting to see how this transfer saga takes shape over the coming days. The player is certain of fetching a substantial value on the market, one that could help Juventus fund for their remaining targets this summer. With three clubs now making offers, it remains to be seen how Juventus react to the situation.
