Leeds United have reportedly agreed personal terms with 22-year-old Dutch attacker Noa Lang and are progressing well in talks with Club Brugge.

According to a report by Belgian outlet Voetbal Belgie, Leeds United have inched closer to signing Noa Lang before the summer transfer window slams shut. The Whites are also making good progress in their negotiations with Club Brugge over the 22-year-old Dutch attacker.

Noa Lang has come a long way since joining Club Brugge from Ajax. Initially signed on loan from the Dutch giants last summer, the youngster made such a rapid impression that Club Brugge chose to sign him permanently this year, although that quickly followed rumours that he could be on his way out of the Belgian club.

To date, Lang has managed a tally of 19 goals and 14 assists in 42 appearances for Club Brugge, which is quite impressive to say the least. And the 22-year-old’s progress since arriving at the Jan Breydel Stadium has alerted one of the most prestigious clubs in England, with Leeds United hot on his trails for quite some time now.

The interest from Leeds makes sense despite the superb performances by Raphinha since arriving at Elland Road last summer. Indeed, both Raphinha and Jack Harrison have been impressive in the Premier League for Leeds, playing a key role in their top half finish last term.

However, beyond the duo, there is a lot that is left to be desired when it comes to quality, especially with Helder Costa struggling to make an impression. And it has even been reported that the Portuguese attacker could be on his way out of the West Yorkshire club this summer, which would open up a space for a new attacking option.

To that end, Lang is a viable target for Leeds, who have been in talks with Club Brugge over the Dutch winger for quite some time now. In fact, for a while, the links with the 22-year-old went cold before Leeds once again leapt into action. And now, the Whites have gone on to agree personal terms with the youngster.

The report also adds that Leeds are progressing well in negotiations with Club Brugge and it could be likely that they will reach an agreement over a transfer fee soon enough. What now remains to be seen is if Leeds indeed quickly wrap up the signing of Lang, although Marcelo Bielsa has hinted that they are unlikely to sign any further new players this summer.
