Real Madrid have reportedly readied a bid to sign Alexander Isak, with Alvaro Odriozola and Martin Odegaard on offer for Real Sociedad.

According to a report by Spanish outlet El Gol Digital, Real Madrid are willing to propose a part-exchange deal to sign Alexander Isak in the summer transfer window. The Merengues are ready to offer Alvaro Odriozola and Martin Odegaard to tempt Real Sociedad to part ways with the 21-year-old, who has impressed for Sweden at UEFA Euro 2020.

Alexander Isak was touted to set the stage alight in Bundesliga when he joined Borussia Dortmund from AIK in January 2017, but he never got going at the Signal Iduna Park. A loan move to Willem II helped him regain some lost confidence before he joined Real Sociedad, where he has resurrected his career, with 33 goals and 5 assists in 89 appearances over the last couple of seasons.

2020/21, in particular, proved to be a season worth remembering for Isak, who is growing into one of the most promising young forwards in La Liga. And at UEFA Euro 2020, he has continued to impress for Sweden, who will bank on him to seal progression to the Round of 16 on Wednesday. Meanwhile, at club level, his progress has alerted a bevy of clubs, including Real Madrid.

Real Madrid are eager to lay down a succession plan for Karim Benzema following the failure of Luka Jovic during his stint at the club. With Mariano Diaz likely to be offloaded amid links with Atletico Madrid, it is imperative that Los Blancos sign a forward who can initially learn the ropes from Benzema before eventually taking over as the first-choice at the Santiago Bernabeu.

To that end, Real Madrid have been linked with several forwards in the upper echelon of football at club level, with Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe being their priority. However, the financials involved in signing either player is proving to be a major stumbling block for the Merengues, who are now having to scour the transfer market for alternatives.

To that end, Isak has emerged as a target for Real Madrid, who are now set to offer Real Sociedad the chance to land two players in a part-exchange deal involving the Swede. On offer are two players who have previously represented La Real, with Alvaro Odriozola and Martin Odegaard being presented as options for a potential swap arrangement.

Both players have been linked with a possible summer exit from Real Madrid, so including them as part of the deal to land Isak could be a prudent move on the part of the Spanish giants. Having said that, it remains to be seen if Real Madrid can indeed offset Isak’s price tag with this proposal, or if Real Sociedad hold out for a better offer instead.

Hmmm isak marvelous player with solid skills if los merengues can secure isak signing he’s going to be a huge plus to the attacking force but my major concern is adding odeegard in deal why not asensio bcos he’s fading out he hardly recorded 15goals for a season even in 2020/21 season that he play most of the matches he couldn’t record 10goals very poor for attacking player of his caliber
