Real Madrid will reportedly have to fork out €100 million in order to swoop Richarlison away from Everton this summer.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Real Madrid now know how much it will take for them to reunite Carlo Ancelotti with Richarlison in the summer transfer window. Everton want €100 million in exchange for the 24-year-old Brazilian international.
Richarlison has been widely regarded as one of the most promising young attackers in the Premier League ever since he first arrived in England by joining Watford in the summer of 2017. However, it is only following the move to Everton a year later that the Brazilian international has become one of the better forwards on show in the English top-flight.
At the same time, the 24-year-old has also become a regular fixture for the Brazilian national side. As for how he has fared at Everton, Richarlison has 42 goals and 9 assists in 119 appearances so far, and it is hardly a wonder that some of the best clubs in the world are interested in signing him. One potential suitor could be Real Madrid.
Carlo Ancelotti is an admirer of the player’s talents ever since they worked together at Everton, with the newly-appointed Real Madrid boss keen on a reunion in the Spanish capital. The possible interest in Richarlison does make sense as well, considering the struggles of Eden Hazard coupled with the inconsistencies of Marco Asensio, Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Jr.
In fact, Asensio has been linked with a potential summer exit as well and could well be on the chopping block this summer. Meanwhile, there have been rumours that Ancelotti is eyeing a raid on another one of his former clubs to bolster the Real Madrid attack, with Hirving Lozano a target.

As for Richarlison, Los Blancos will need to shell out €100 million to swoop him away from Everton this summer. However, the report suggests that Real Madrid are unlikely to make a move for the 24-year-old this summer, as they are only prioritising Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to reinforce their attack this summer.
Therefore, for all intents and purposes, it looks like Everton are unlikely to recoup €100 million for Richarlison, who looks set to stay put at Goodison Park. Who Real Madrid signs to bolster their attacking department, though, remains to be seen.
