Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly vying for the signature of Youssef En-Nesyri, who is valued at €30 million by Sevilla.

According to a report by Spanish outlet El Gol Digital, Manchester United and Liverpool are among the clubs that are interested in signing Youssef En-Nesyri. The two Premier League heavyweights are set to battle it out for the Sevilla striker, who has a €30 million price tag.

En-Nesyri joined Sevilla from former La Liga outfit CD Leganes last summer and has proven to be an instant hit at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium. So far this season, the 23-year-old striker has made 43 appearances for Los Nervionenses and he is the club’s top scorer in the campaign with 21 goals to his name.

However, his incredible progress with Sevilla has attracted a number of clubs to him, with the young Moroccan international being tailed by two of the biggest clubs in the world. These two suitors hail from the Premier League, with Liverpool and Manchester United battling for his services.

Liverpool seem to be in a precarious situation over the future of Roberto Firmino, who has had heavy links with Atletico Madrid among others. With that in mind, it is prudent for the Reds to be in the market for a striker, considering Divock Origi is set to be offloaded by the Premier League champions in the summer transfer window. En-Nesyri is, therefore, a viable target for Liverpool.

Manchester United, on the other hand, could be set for sweeping changes in the central striker’s position this coming summer, with Edinson Cavani linked with a return to South America while Anthony Martial could be offloaded by the club. To that end, the Red Devils have been linked with Dusan Vlahovic, also a target for Liverpool, with En-Nesyri now emerging as a worthy option.

Apart from Vlahovic and En-Nesyri, the high-flying Patson Daka is also a target for both Liverpool and Manchester United. En-Nesyri, though, could be more easier to sign, seeing as he is valued at around €30 million by Sevilla, according to the report.

Meanwhile, in addition to Liverpool and Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund also have their sights set on the 23-year-old, and it will be interesting to see if his time in La Liga ends in the summer transfer window. For now, it looks like En-Nesyri could be bracing himself for a €30 million summer move.
