Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw are expected to start while Dean Henderson should replace David de Gea when Manchester United face Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester United will have revenge on their minds when they travel south to London to face off against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in the Premier League.

Coming into the game on the back of a 2-0 win over Granada in the UEFA Europa League, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had been given a few fitness worries as Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford had both come off with niggles in that game. The Norwegian, however, had said on Thursday that he expects the duo to be available for selection against Tottenham.

“We’ll have to stay over here, fly back tomorrow [Friday] and Saturday will just be a day of recovery and see how the bodies feel. So I don’t know until then, but I hope both Luke and Marcus will be ready after tonight, yeah,” he said. While Rashford and Shaw may be available, Anthony Martial remains sidelined for Manchester United along with Phil Jones and Eric Bailly.

There will be a few changes made to the side that started on Thursday against Granada, the first of which should come in goal. Dean Henderson ought to reclaim his spot between the sticks after having made way for David de Gea for the Europa League clash. No changes are expected in the backline, though, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Shaw forming the four-man defensive unit.

Moving into the midfield department, Paul Pogba was another player to have picked up a knock in the win over Granada. But Solskjaer expects the Frenchman to make himself available for selection. Should that be the case, Pogba is a certain starter in midfield for Manchester United. He will have a change of partners, though, with Fred coming in for Scott McTominay.

With Rashford expected to be available, the England international ought to be the man slotting in on the left flank. Mason Greenwood is a certainty out on the right-wing while Bruno Fernandes takes over the creative burden in the No. 10 role. Finally, Edinson Cavani should be the man spearheading the Manchester United attack against Tottenham this weekend.

Manchester United Predicted XI: Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; Pogba, Fred; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Cavani
