Chelsea are reportedly interested in Borussia Dortmund and England winger Jadon Sancho, who is also on the radars of Manchester United as well as Liverpool.

According to a report from Goal.com, Premier League giants Chelsea are interested in Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho. The 20-year-old Englishman is also a target for Blues’ rivals Manchester United and Liverpool.

Having left Manchester City for Dortmund in 2017, Sancho has grown into one of the most highly-rated young attackers across Europe. The 20-year-old enjoyed a sensational 2019/20 campaign, bagging 20 goals and assists each in 44 games. Sancho has had a comparatively slow start to the 2020/21 season but has still posted a tally of four goals and eight assists from 18 matches.

Manchester United were hot on the trail of Sancho throughout the summer transfer window, but a move failed to materialise as the club refused to meet Dortmund’s asking price for their prized asset. Having not pushed to sign him, the 20-time English champions continue to monitor the England international, and understandably so, given their right-wing problems.

Of late, it has been claimed that Manchester United’s bitter rivals Liverpool, too, were keeping tabs on the 20-year-old. While the Reds have a packed attacking unit, the likes of Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri face uncertain futures at the club. And bringing in someone like Sancho would take an already dangerous Reds forward line to a whole new level.

Now, it seems like Chelsea too are looking at the 20-year-old, as per the aforementioned report. The Blues bolstered their attack in the summer with the signings of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz. However, in recent games, they have lacked that bit of guile and creativity from the right flank in the absence of Ziyech.

With Werner and Havertz also taking time to settle down in their new environs, bringing another dynamic player like Sancho would bolster Frank Lampard’s side a great deal. It is stated in the report that the Blues are long-term admirers of the former Manchester City winger, but it remains unclear where they will make an offer for him in the near future.

Sancho still has close to three years left on his current contract and Dortmund are unlikely to waver from their demands of a transfer fee in excess of £100 million. With as many as three Premier League giants monitoring the England international, it remains to be seen if there is any approach made for him in the coming months.

Shame, Chelsea is now intrested in all the players, a conffused coach Frank.
