Manchester United have been backed by Louis Saha to sign Jack Grealish and Jadon Sanho to take their squad to the next level.

Speaking to Ladbrokes, as relayed by Daily Express, Louis Saha has tipped Manchester United to sign Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish, with the former being his preferred option. The ex-United striker has urged the Red Devils to make a game-changing signing to help Bruno Fernandes and take the next step in their evolution.

Both Sancho and Grealish were heavily linked with Manchester United in the summer transfer window following stunning individual campaigns last term. Sancho became one of the hottest properties in the transfer market following a brilliant 2019/20 season while Grealish was the architect of Aston Villa’s miraculous escape from relegation.

In the end, however, a move for neither player ended up materialising, with Manchester United instead reinforcing their midfield and attack by signing Donny van de Beek and Edinson Cavani; neither of them is a regular starter yet, although Cavani has made a superb impact since arriving at Old Trafford.

As for the English duo, Sancho has struggled to hit the heights of the previous campaign and has been in and out of the starting lineup. Grealish, though, continues to inspire Villa to newer levels, with the Midlands club in contention for a top half finish this term. The interest in both players also remains.

Recent reports have suggested that Manchester United could launch the offensive for Grealish in the January transfer window. Sancho, on the other hand, remains on their radar as well, despite a dip in form. Now, though, former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has urged the Red Devils to make a move for the English internationals.

“It’s unfortunate Manchester United couldn’t get deals in place for Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho last summer because they are two amazing players. I know less about Grealish but I think he would have fitted perfectly into this team. But for me, I’m sorry, Sancho is just such an unbelievable player.”

“He’s unpredictable, he’s such a great talent and if he was playing for United with Bruno Fernandes you just know as a striker you’re going to score goals because of those two. Manchester United did miss out on the two of them in the summer, but hopefully they’ll have another chance to sign them soon. My choice of the two would be Sancho over Grealish.”

While Sancho and Grealish play on the opposite sides of the pitch, it is important to note that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already has Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood at his disposal, apart from Cavani, meaning that signing both the English forwards could end up being an overload in the attacking unit.

Nevertheless, as Saha iterated, both Sancho and Grealish will add a lot to the Manchester United squad and have what it takes to take them to the next level. What now remains to be seen is if United do end up making a move for either or both of the players in January or next summer.

    what utter rubbish
Grealish Isn’t for sale, so a forced sale would cost in excess of £100million.
And why would he join a club in decline?
