Liverpool are reportedly interested in Burak Ince and Ravil Tagir, with the current Premier League leaders considering a £6.7 million raid for the Altinordu duo.

According to a report from Turkish publication Yeni Asir, carried by Daily Star, Liverpool are looking to focus more on signing future stars rather than spend heavily on players that are already first-team quality. The runaway Premier League leaders are plotting a £6.7 million double raid on Altinordu for Ravil Tagir and Burak Ince.

The report comes in the aftermath of Chelsea reportedly agreeing a deal with Timo Werner, who was one of the high priority targets for Liverpool this summer. The Reds are now looking to navigate through the troubled financial situation due to the temporary suspension of football and will likely not make any groundbreaking transfers right now.

Instead, Liverpool are looking to go the youth route, with a raid on Altinordu touted in order to land their promising duo Burak Ince and Ravil Tagir, both of whom are enjoying a breakthrough maiden senior campaign for the Turkish club.

Ince is a midfielder by trade and has been a regular for Altinordu in the second division in Turkey, with 2 goals and an assist in 16 league appearances. On the other hand, Tagir has been a key part of the Altinordu squad and has played in all but two of Altinordu’s league matches.

Tagir has been part of the Altinordu backline and played a huge role in the 7 clean sheets that they have managed thus far this season.

As per the report, Liverpool are willing to shell out £6.7 million to land the Altinordu duo, with the Turkish club also looking to include a 30% of next sale clause as part of the deal.

Liverpool have been reinforcing their youth department for a while now. We have seen the Reds capture the highly-rated Sepp van den Berg while also snatching Harvey Elliott away from Fulham on a free transfer subject to compensation or development fee as per regulations.

Jurgen Klopp has already started the first-team inculcation process of the aforementioned stars and the Altinordu duo could follow suit. This rumour has a great chance of turning into reality and is largely dependent on whether Liverpool deem Tagir and Ince enough of talents to be recruited.
