Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino are set to return while Sadio Mane could be in line for a rest when Liverpool take on Bournemouth at Dean Court on Saturday.

Liverpool will be aiming to continue their fine run of form in the Premier League when they lock horns with a struggling Bournemouth side at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon. And, Jurgen Klopp is set to welcome a key player back into his side.

Alisson Becker was suspended for the Merseyside derby earlier this week after being sent off last weekend against Brighton & Hove Albion. The Brazilian is now available after serving out his suspension and should walk straight back into the starting lineup in place of his deputy Adrian.

Meanwhile, during pre-match press conference, Klopp was asked whether he has any fresh injury issues to report. The Liverpool boss, though, revealed that Joel Matip (knee) and Fabinho (ankle) remain the only key absentees for the visitors and that there are no other players experiencing any troubles.

“In the moment, no, it looks OK. But it’s like, if somebody wakes up and feels a little bit here and there, then I need to know that. When I know that, then I have to deal with that information. But in this moment, they all should be fine.”

Klopp was also asked if he would rotate his side for a second successive games, after making as many as five changes for the 5-2 rout of Everton. The Liverpool manager remained coy on facing the question, but did admit that playing two games in three days will be challenging for his players.

“We have to see who we can use, especially when it’s three days between two games – Wednesday-Saturday is always a massive challenge and we have to be sensible and sensitive in the same moment with the decision-making about the line-up because Bournemouth will be really demanding, they will ask for everything.”

There should be one change in defence, with Joe Gomez coming into the side to give Dejan Lovren a breather. Gomez will partner Virgil van Dijk at the heart of the Liverpool defence, with Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold continuing as the full-back pairing.Liverpool

The three-man midfield should see a complete shuffle, with James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum and Adam Lallana dropping to the bench after their excursions earlier in the week. In their stead, Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita ought to start in the middle of the park against Bournemouth.

Attack is also likely to see a couple of changes, especially after Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino were benched last time out. Salah did not even take the field and is, thus, expected to be an automatic pick, with Firmino in line to start as well. Sadio Mane, though, will likely be rested, with Divock Origi completing the three-pronged attack in his place.

Predicted Liverpool XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson, Keita; Salah, Firmino, Origi
