Arsenal superstar Jack Wilshere hints an exit from the club, with a late night social media post on his Instagram.

According to a report by an English Publication Telegraph, Jack Wilshere could leave Arsenal this summer after he signaled a move away from the club with a late night post on his official Instagram account, even though there are still discussions on his new contract extension.

Jack Wilshere, who returned to Arsenal last season after a season-long loan spell at Bournemouth, appeared in 20 Premier League games for Arsenal, he bagged only 1 goal and 3 assists, though he has put his injury woes behind him since return, but failed to agree terms with his boyhood club, as Arsenal is looking to cut his salary to £90,000-a-week.

The midfielder’s current contract with the Gunners will run out on July 1, but he has been in talks with the North London club to extend his stay for several months. Besides, new Arsenal boss, Unai Emery was believed to be keen to keep the playmaker Wilshere.

But, the Spaniard is in the process of tying up a £26 million deal for Uruguay and Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira. Additionally, improved contract of Aaron Ramsey and contract extensions signed by Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Mohamed Elneny in recent months will create further competition in the midfield.

Due to complications in the negotiations between Arsenal and him, it generated interests from West Ham United and Crystal Palace, since the English midfielder might become a free agent next month and could be hired at free of cost, while there have also been offers from Juventus and other Serie A clubs in the past. The English midfielder could land a good deal for himself as zero cost to his transfer will demonstrate a good business by any club.

Moreover, with a philosophical post on his Instagram story on Wednesday night, Wilshere has hinted that he will become a free agent in a few weeks time. The English midfielder posted a plain picture displaying a quote,“There comes a time when you have to choose between turning the page and closing the book.”

The latest words from Wilshere clearly shows that he has made up his mind and would probably leave the Emirates on a free transfer since the negotiations with Arsenal for a new contract are about to fail. Also, Wilshere has been kept away from his National duties as Gareth Southgate didn’t include him in his 23-man squad for World Cup 2018 in Russia, which will give Wilshere time to figure out his next step. Therefore, a move to a different club is possible very soon.
