Teenage sensation Largie Ramazani has penned his first professional deal with Manchester United a month after turning 17 years of age.
Manchester United have succeeded in tying down teenage wonderkid Largie Ramazani to his first professional contract, the club has announced on their official website.
Manchester United had signed the 17-year old Ramazani this past summer, after having spotted him in action for the Charlton Athletic academy and having been impressed by the impact the youngster has made in his first season the club have offered him his first professional terms, a month after he turned 17.
Born in Burundi, Ramazani spent his formative years in Belgium, being part of the RSC Anderlecht academy before his family moved to the UK. Having arrived in England, the 17-year old was soon snapped up by Charlton Athletic where he continued his development before Manchester United offered him a scholarship in the summer of 2017.

Ramazani has been primarily utilized as a left-sided wide player by the Red Devils’ U18 side from where he has been extremely effective with his ability to run at defenders at pace and his nifty footwork. Having made his debut against Newcastle United in September last year, the highly-rated winger scored his first goal for his new team in only his second appearance, against Everton U18.
Since signing for Manchester United in the summer, Ramazani has managed to score three goals and chalked up three assists as well in 10 Under-18 Premier League appearances – only two of which have been from the kickoff, helping Kieran McKenna’s side to the top of the Premier League North table.
Ramazani has represented Belgium at the U17 level and has scored a goal in nine appearances at the international level.
The 17-year old Ramazani is held in very high regard within the club and has been tipped for a very bright future by the coaches that have worked with him. And Manchester United will be hoping that the player will follow in the footsteps of talented young players like Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes, and will be ready to break into the club’s reserves team over the coming 12 months.
