Manchester United are reportedly plotting an audacious £90 million move for Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard, also a target for Real Madrid.
According to The Sun, Manchester United are attempting to secure a magnanimous deal. The Red Devils are plotting a mammoth £90 million move to land Eden Hazard. The Chelsea superstar is also a prime target for Real Madrid, with Zinedine Zidane keen to bring the Belgian over to Santiago Bernabeu.
While the rumour is likely to be nothing more than just a story, there is no denying the fact that not just Jose Mourinho, but any manager in the world would love a player like Eden Hazard in their team. The Belgian has, after all, been running the show since his arrival in the Premier League.
Hazard has been instrumental in Chelsea’s return to the pinnacle of the Premier League under Antonio Conte. The present season did see the winger suffer a bit of a blip in form. But, he now seems to be back to his old self, with an improvement in his return as well.
8 goals and 7 assists in 23 appearances seem normal statistics for an attacker. But, the Belgian’s return is impressive, given the dry spell in between.

Manchester United are searching for reinforcements on the wing, with the club being linked to the likes of Leon Bailey, Malcom, Marco Asensio and many more. While Hazard’s pursuit is near impossible, the rumours of a pending managerial change at Chelsea might just make it a reality.
However, even if Hazard does become available in the near future, Real Madrid are primed to land the attacker. Zidane and Hazard have shown mutual respect and admiration towards each other through words, with several reports claiming that the Real Madrid manager would love to bring the player over to the Bernabeu.
In fact, Hazard has been linked for a good couple of seasons with a move to Real Madrid, which has always on the horizon with the Belgian refusing to rule out a move to the Spanish giants.
The links might just be a result of other reports of Hazard rejecting the offer to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge – a rumoured four-year deal with wages to the tune of £300,000 per week.
It is safe to dismiss the links between Manchester United and Hazard as just a rumour at this stage. And even if United do seem to be interested in Hazard, the Belgian seems to prefer a move to Real Madrid any given day. Los Blancos too, would love to make the Belgian the next addition to a glittering squad.
