Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham are all scouring the possibility to sign German Under-21 international and Hoffenheim starlet Nadiem Amiri.

According to The Sun, Hoffenheim star Nadiem Amiri is generating a lot of interest in his services. The Germany Under-21 international is reportedly on the radar of Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham, who are all looking to land the highly rated midfielder.

Nadiem Amiri has been touted as a bright prospect from the get-go. A part of Hoffenheim since his boyhood, the 21-year-old has shot to limelight after a brilliant start to his senior career at the club, with the Bundesliga outfit’s improved stature in Bundesliga also a contributing factor.

Amiri has done his share of duties with aplomb and under Julien Nagelsmann, the player has looked just like the talent he was touted to be. A total of 78 Bundesliga appearances under his belt, the 21-year-old might just be on his way out of the club, with three big Premier League clubs interested.

Manchester United’s over-reliance on Paul Pogba to run the midfield has become evident in the Frenchman’s absence, especially with a trepid display in the Manchester derby, wherein they were dogged by the visitors’ midfield prowess.

Jose Mourinho would not have liked that and is sure to want to correct the same by reinforcing his midfield. Scott McTominay has made the step up from academy while Andreas Pereira has also been touted be a first-team star when he returns from his loan spell at Valencia.

However, the manager would want a long-term addition to the squad that is capable of running the midfield a la Michael Carrick while having the ability to be a greater creative influence in the attacking third as well. Amiri could be just that man.

Arsenal and Tottenham are in the hunt as well. Both the North London giants are looking to freshen up their options in midfield and are eyeing a move for Amiri among others. The player will likely be available for around £20 million – an amount that is unlikely to bother any of the three suitors.

Amiri is contracted to Hoffenheim till 2020 and will be a tough target to get, especially till Julian Nagelsmann stays at helm. The duo has a history that can be dated back to the player’s youth days when Nagelsmann was the coach of the Under-19 side and led the team to the Under-19 Bundesliga title.
