Manchester United and Liverpool have reportedly joined Arsenal in the pursuit of Julian Draxler, who has been put on the market by PSG.

According to Daily Mirror, Julian Draxler is being heavily courted by the Premier League, with Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal all interested in the German international, who has reportedly been told by PSG that he is no longer wanted at Parc des Princes.

Julian Draxler forced his way out of Wolfsburg in January, 2017 and PSG obliged by adding the talented winger to the squad. And the German repaid the faith showed in him by doling out an appreciable return of 10 goals and 3 assists in just half a season.

However, less than a year down the line and with the world-record addition of Neymar, the player could be on his way out of the club and perhaps, to one of the most illustrious and cut-throat league in the world – The Premier League, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool all interested in the player.

Arsenal’s interest may stem from their potential need to replace Alexis Sanchez, who has one foot out of Emirates as at the present moment. Also, Mesut Ozil is yet to extend his contract at Arsenal and Draxler’s signing, which was one of Ozil’s requests earlier, might just get the playmaker to commit to the club.

Manchester United, on the other hand, are looking at the player as an alternate option to Ivan Perisic, who’s pursuit has been a long and drawn-out affair. Jose Mourinho has not kept his wish for a wide attacking player a secret and Draxler may be the answer.

Liverpool’s interest though, may come as a weird proposition. Jurgen Klopp has already signed Mohamed Salah and with the likes of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino in the squad, there does not appear to be much room for Draxler.

However, the boss might be interested in bringing his compatriot over to Anfield as a potential replacement for Coutinho, who, like Sanchez for Arsenal, appears to be heading towards the exit door.

Draxler is reportedly available at around £32 million, a fee all of the clubs would happily spend in order to land the PSG superstar. Given the nature of the currently inflated market, the aforementioned fee may be termed as a bargain deal for the German international.

Premier League seems to be Draxler’s destination. But, where he ends up could depend upon the ability of the three clubs to lure the player and how far each of them is willing to go, financially and otherwise, to prise the player away from the other suitors.
