Borussia Dortmund’s young Turkish winger Emre Mor has reportedly snubbed Liverpool and is set to join Inter Milan instead

According to a report by Calciomercato, Emre Mor has snubbed a Liverpool move and is close to completing a move to Inter Milan over the course of the next few days. Representatives from the German and Italian clubs are believed to be discussing a fee since Dortmund want €25 million while Inter are willing to pay €14 million.

The 20-year-old attacker joined the German giants only last summer from FC Nordsjaelland. While he is talented, the youngster struggled for game time due to which he is understood to be seeking newer pastures this summer.

Upon his arrival, Mor raked in considerate first-team playing experience under Thomas Tuchel. The promising talent ended the campaign with a total of 19 appearances, during which he managed to score one goal and provide three assists for the side.

With Tuchel’s departure and the arrival of new manager Petsr Bosz, opportunities could be more difficult for the player to come by at the German club. A move to a different side seems like the best option, especially since that will allow him to get precious game time and experience.

Liverpool have been long-term admirers of the youngster. Although they were earlier reported to be favouring a loan move, it looks like they could be targeting a permanent deal now. With Mor edging close to an Inter Milan deal, the Reds will have to make a move soon.

If Mor joins Liverpool, the youngster could go on to stake a claim for a regular spot in the first team since the Reds are in need of addition of depth to their attack. Having said that, it could also be likely that manager Jurgen Klopp looks at Mor as a long-term development project which could limit his game time.

A move to Italy to play for Inter Milan can provide Mor with invaluable Serie A experience, which will allow him to adapt more quickly to different leagues. Additionally, the youngster is in search of regular football and that is something he can he can expect from the Italian club.

Everton were also believed to be interested in a deal for Mor. A move to join Ronald Koeman’s side could have also provided him with valuable game time but it looks like the winger is set on a move to Milan.
