Chelsea striker Diego Costa has opened up about the futures of Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois and his own at Stamford Bridge.

Diego Costa has urged Chelsea teammates Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois to remain at Stamford Bridge amid interest from Real Madrid, while also insisting that he is currently happy at the West London club.

Costa was speaking in an interview with El Larguero on Spanish radio station Cadena COPE, when he was asked about his future with Chelsea, ” In life anything can happen. You never know, now I’m good at Chelsea but if tomorrow the Chinese come and Chelsea tells me I have to go I will not want to stay with them anymore.”

Costa has been the cornerstone of Chelsea’s success in the Premier League this season, scoring 17 goals and providing 5 assists in 26 matches, to be among the top goalscorers in the English top flight, and netting some vital goals for the Blues.

However, his own future has been mired in uncertainty in recent months, with the latest reports stating that he could be on his way to Real Madrid, with Chelsea prepared to sell the hitman in the summer.

In his own words, though, he seems to be committed to the West London club as they stroll towards the Premier League title.

Costa was also asked about the futures of Hazard and Courtois, who have been linked with Real Madrid, and he said that he hoped the duo decide to stay at Stamford Bridge. He continued, ” I hope Real Madrid doesn’t get Hazard or Courtois.”

Hazard and Courtois have also been two of the most influential members of the Chelsea squad on either ends of the pitch, turning in consistent performances throughout the season to lead the club’s splendid charge.

Hazard has rediscovered his best form after an under par 2015/16 season, bagging 11 goals and 4 assists in 26 Premier League games. The driving runs, the dangerous tricks are back; and Hazard is back to being Chelsea’s talisman.

Meanwhile, Courtois has been the rock between the sticks for the Blues, and his assured presence in goal has resulted in Chelsea conceding a mere 21 goals, with a league-high 13 clean sheets to his name.

But the impressive and consistent performances have also resulted in Real Madrid showing interest in the Chelsea duo, as Zinedine Zidane strives to sign world class players across the pitch in the summer.

Hazard and Courtois definitely fit the bill and can slot straight into the starting lineup in Zidane’s side at the Santiago Bernabeu next season. Hazard can form a formidable attacking trio with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, while Courtois will be a huge upgrade over the under-fire Keylor Navas.

However, it remains to be seen if the duo are eager on a move as well with Costa urging them to stay on despite the interest.
