Chelsea, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are among a host of several clubs interested in the latest Flamengo prodigy Felipe Vizeu.

The Sun are claiming that a host of clubs are showing interest in Flamengo wonderkid Felipe Vizeu. The likes of Chelsea, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Fiorentina and Lazio are all credited with interest in the forward while Brazilian outlet Co News have reported that a host of European clubs are interested in Vizeu.

Flamengo have a magnificent history of producing gem after gem for Brazil. And 19-year-old Vizeu seems the latest churned-out product from the fabled academy. The player is an out-and-out forward who likes to terrorize opponents with his silk-smooth movement.

And the 19-year-old was the cream of the crop in the 2016 Sao Paulo Youth Cup, winning the Player of the Tournament award. The striker has already made the senior grade at Flamengo and has a decent return of 5 goals in 15 appearances for the Brazilian outfit.

Vizeu has also done well on the international level, with 6 goals in 11 appearances for the Under-20 Brazilian side and being one of the major stars at the South American Under-20 Championship.

Flamengo have done well to tie the wonderkid down to a long-term contract, one that runs till 2020. And with the Brazilian side under no pressure to sell, the interested clubs would have to activate the £25.7 million release clause embedded in his new long-term deal.

And boy are there clubs interested in Vizeu. The likes of Chelsea, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Fiorentina and Lazio are all showing interest in the striker. Chelsea, especially, are in need of reinforcements in the striker department.

Michy Batshuayi has failed to impress his manager and has really been unable to receive enough of game time to perhaps do the aforementioned. Diego Costa, on the other hand, may well be on his way out of Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Even if the Spaniard ends up staying, Chelsea would need an addition or two in that area as they are almost certain to make the Champions League now, which would result in fixture congestion, where the squad depth or lack of it is best highlighted.

Borussia Dortmund are always on the lookout for young talented additions to their already amazingly talented young core and Vizeu seems to fit the bill for the Yellow Brigade. With Paulo Dybala continuously linked with the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid, Juventus may also look to delve into the Brazilian market for Vizeu.

And all the aforementioned clubs are more than likely to be ready to pay the requisite buyout clause in order to get the player to Europe if he continues to impress. Chelsea have also been linked with his 16-year-old club-mate Vinicius Junior, who has been hailed as the next Neymar.

But, at 19, Vizeu may seem to be a more matured prospect and a more achievable target for the Blues, especially with all the clubs interested in the 16-year-old prodigy. Vizeu might just be the next Brazilian to make a splash on the European scene, and hopefully, soon.
