Dortmund have reportedly informed the Real Madrid hierarchy that the Santiago Bernabeu is Aubameyang’s destination of choice and business could be done, should an appropriate offer be tabled.

The 27-year-old has made no secret of his desire to play for Real Madrid one day as he had promised his grandfather that he would one day don the white of Los Blancos.

This summer, the former AC Milan striker was linked with a move to both Manchester United and Manchester City and reports had emerged of the forward snubbing a move to Manchester United for a possible move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2017.

Now with only a 2 days left in the transfer window, MARCA report that Borussia Dortmund are willing to listen to offers from only Real Madrid as Aubameyang wants to make a move and have informed Madrid that they would do business at the right price.

Dortmund are certainly in no danger of losing him out to Bayern Munich however, as the Gabon international has stated previously that if he were to leave the Westfalenstadion, it would only be for Real Madrid or nobody else.

Real Madrid already brought back Alvaro Morata from Juventus this summer and they have Karim Benzema to use as their first choice striker, so it is yet to be seen whether they will be willing to spend on another world-class striker without first offloading one.

Morata is surely a talent for the future, but with only 12 goals in 47 appearances last term for Juventus, he still has a long way to go to match Aubameyang’s stunning record of 39 goals in 46 appearances.

Having already lost the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Manchester United, Mats Hummels to Bayern Munich and Ilkay Gundogan to Manchester City this summer, Tomas Tuchel’s side have lost a lot of quality from their ranks and it seems unlikely that they would want to lose Aubameyang unless they were able to replace him in time.
