The departure of Roberto Mancini raises doubts over the futures of many players at Inter. The uncertainty, along with the Nerazzurri’s financial troubles, may force them to part ways with Brozovic in order to raise funds.

Since joining from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2015 on a loan deal which was later made permanent, Marcelo Brozovic has gone on to become arguably the best player in the Inter Milan squad. The Croatian international was one of the first names on Roberto Mancini’s team sheet and under his tutelage, the 23-year-old has gone on to become one of the best midfielders in Europe. His exploits with the Nerazzurri have seen him get linked with European heavyweights like Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. But it didn’t seem as if a move to any of these clubs would transpire after the arrival of Inter Milan’s new investors.

But after the recent sacking of the 51-year-old Italian, the futures of many of Inter’s current first team players may be uncertain. In light of this, Arsenal and Liverpool have reignited their interest in the former Zagreb man. Earlier, it was rumoured that Brozovic would be available for £21 million. But now, according to Gazzetta World, Brozovic should be available for €30 million (£25 million) to the English giants who are reportedly back in the hunt for his signature.

With both clubs looking to strengthen for the upcoming Premier League season which is less than a week away, both Wenger and Klopp would likely want to add as much quality as they can to their squads as they both look to better last season’s finish. With Cazorla, Ozil, Ramsey and Xhaka at Arsenal and Henderson,Wijnaldum, Sane, Coutinho and Can at Liverpool, Brozovic would still be able to add a considerable amount of quality to either side. At 23 years of age, both Wenger and Klopp would have a hugely talented, long term prospect in their hands who could easily go on to become one of the best midfielders on the planet some day, if his potential were utilised properly.
