The world’s fastest man, and long time Manchester United fan, Usain Bolt would only want to achieve his dream of playing for the Red Devils if current manager Louis van Gaal wasn’t the boss at Old Trafford.
Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt is the latest United fan to speak out against Louis van Gaal, saying that he had been a fan of the club for years but wouldn’t like to play for them under the current manager.
“I would still love to play for them, but if Louis Van Gaal is the coach, not so much,” said Bolt, according to FourFourTwo.
Last week, Bolt asserted that the Iron Tulip was not the right kind of manager for a team like Manchester United and questioned whether players enjoyed playing under him.
“I think a lot of players don’t want to come to the team under Van Gaal. I think players don’t want to play for him.
“He plays a different style of football which Manchester United doesn’t really play. We are more of an attacking team and he likes to pass the ball. I’m not saying he’s not a good coach but, personally, I just think he’s not right for Manchester United.”

Louis van Gaal may be a highly entertaining manager off the pitch, from urging his players to be more horny and even talking about sex masochism, but the on-field performances of his team have left a lot of Manchester United fans turned off. The world’s fastest man is the latest to voice his concerns about the direction towards which the club is heading under the Iron Tulip, and most fans and pundits would agree.
Manchester United are hoping Man City slip up in their final match against Swansea, after scuppering the chance to ensure a fourth placed finish in mid-week. They were eliminated in the group stages of the Champions League, and though the FA Cup final awaits at the end of the month, it is small consolation for fans who are used to seeing Manchester United dominate the Premier League and in Europe.
