Chelsea Football Club have offered their captain John Terry a one year contract extension, much to the delight of fans.
After announcing a few months before that he wasn’t offered a contract extension yet, the iconic Blues’ captain looked certain to leave the club at the end of the season, after 18 glorious and trophy-laden years at the club. Fans were left outraged by this decision. After months of speculation and no comment from the club regarding this matter, it seemed as if Terry’s sending off at Sunderland would be his last piece of action with the club.
But it has been reported today that the club have offered Terry an extension today, and the fans were left overjoyed by the decision.
