During the course of what has been a tumultuous season for the West London outfit, there has been a lot of speculation regarding player transfers and rumours of a possible exodus at Chelsea Football Club. After a bad start to the season, Diego Costa has scored 11 goals in 16 appearances since the arrival of Guus Hiddink, and is currently serving his latest 3-match ban.

Diego Costa has been offered to Paris Saint-Germain by his agent Jorge Mendes, according to Express. The 27-year-old has endured poor form, injuries and disciplinary issues during his second season at Stamford Bridge. The Spaniard has also had to endure his share of backlash from the fans for his  alleged role in the sacking of Chelsea legend Jose Mourinho.

Psg Looking To Replace Strikers

PSG are likely to be in the market for a striker as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani look set to leave. Zlatan is on the last year of his transfer and could leave for free next year with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United rumoured to be interested. The 34-year-old has won every domestic trophy with the Parisians, and would leave as the club’s all time leading goal scorer.

Cavani is reportedly unhappy with constantly being played out of position, with preference being given to the enigmatic Swede. The Uruguayan hitman has 16 goals in all competitions this season and has been linked to Juventus, Manchester United and Chelsea. The 29-year-old’s father had suggested earlier this year that his son could have to move to either of the Manchester clubs to try and fulfill his Champions League ambitions.

According to France Footbal, the Ligue 1 Champions will move for the striker after super agent Jorge Mendes held talks with the club about signing his client. The Express further claim that Chelsea want around £40m for the Brazilian-born Spanish international.

A bad start to the season followed by a mid season resurgence seems to have left Chelsea fans divided about their opinion on the striker. While there is no denying his superb ability, disciplinary issues, on field antics and injuries don’t help tip the scales in Costa’s favour. In light of the rumours of a squad overhaul at Chelsea, accusations of him playing a part in Mourinho’s sacking, constant rumours of his unhappiness in London and his desire to head back to Atletico Madrid, it would be no great surprise to fans if the number 19 shirt at Chelsea is left empty at the end of the season.
