Everton FC travel to the City of Manchester Stadium with added confidence, after beating the home side 2-1 in the Capital One Cup, but the Citizens will be taking this game much more seriously as they welcome back two experienced members of the team in Yaya Toure and David Silva.

Manchester City may have been beaten 2-1 at Goodison Park last week, the Premier League is a whole different proposition altogether. The Citizens welcome back two of their mainstays who missed the FA Cup Game against Norwich City earlier this week, David Silva and Yaya Toure.

But the citizens do have a bit of an injury problem with the likes of Wilfried Bony, Eliaquim Mangala, Vincent Kompany, Fernandinho and Samir Nasri all out of the equation. The worst area effected will be the defence where manager Manuel Pellegrini will hope that Nicholas Otamendi and Martin Demichelis can provide some stability at the back.

For Everton, the most pressing concern is the absence of right back Seamus Coleman, who picked up a calf injury in their last match against Manchester City in the Capital One Cup. Midfielder Tom Cleverly, who has been very impressive this season, is also a doubt for the match.

They will, however, be bolstered by the return of defender Ramiro Funes Mori, who suffered a head injury in the FA Cup match against League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge FC, which required 10 stitches.
