Saul Niguez and Kenedy are surprise starters, while Ben Chilwell is in the matchday squad for Chelsea’s game against Watford at Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel has rung in the changes as Chelsea get set to play hosts to Watford at Stamford Bridge in their final game of the season. There are no shuffles in goal, where Edouard Mendy retains his spot ahead of Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The first change comes in the central defensive unit, with Cesar Azpilicueta replacing Trevoh Chalobah in the back three. The Chelsea captain joins Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger, who will play his final game for Chelsea today.

Up ahead in midfield, Jorginho drops to the bench, with Saul Niguez a surprising starter in place of the Chelsea vice-captain. Reece James retains his spot as the right wing-back, but Marcos Alonso drops out of the matchday squad altogether, with Kenedy replacing him. Meanwhile, Ben Chilwell finds a place on the bench after regaining his fitness.

The attacking unit witnesses a couple of changes, with Hakim Ziyech retaining his spot. But Romelu Lukaku and Christian Pulisic drop out, with Mason Mount and Kai Havertz returning to the starting eleven. Malang Sarr, Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are among the other substitutes for Chelsea against Watford.

Chelsea Starting Lineup: Mendy, Azpilicueta, Silva, Rudiger, James, Kante, Saul, Kenedy, Ziyech, Havertz, Mount
